Xperia Z2 Presented: Sony’s 4K-Videomonster is There

Is it still a Smartphone or a full-blown camera in your Pocket? Sony has unveiled its Xperia Z2 on the MWC. That takes videos with 4 k resolution.

The unit with 20 megapixels shoots pictures. With a larger sensor (1/2.3 “-Exmor-r”) Sony promises at least better images in low light conditions. The new chip has not only red, yellow, and blue pixels, but additionally a white. He should provide more dynamics in images and minimize noise.

The Xperia Z2 with 4 k resolution, so 3,840 x 2,160 pixels shoots videos. So high-resolution videos are still the Galaxy lets you turn G Pro 2 touch 3 by Samsung and LG. More Power and Larger Battery

As with its predecessor, Sony relies on IP55/58-certification. This means: the Z2 is protected against dust and water. A technology called DNC is intended to minimize ambient noise as far as possible on the phone.

According to performance for compute-intensive 4K-Videoaufnahmen provides a 2.3 GHz quad-core processor. The battery is indeed stronger than at the previous with 3200mAh, however the Z2 will consume even more power. As the operating system Android is used 4.4 Kit Kat.

Sony brings the device in Q2 in the colours black, white and purple for 599 euros on the market.
